"Tension vs. Timbre" was a track that began solely as an experiment in sound using Sunhouse Sensory Percussion and a C & C Custom Drums kit equipped with all mesh heads.

At the time I sat down to record this track, I thought it would fall apart in quick fashion as soon as I hit record. I was initially going into this track to experiment with setting up the Sensory Percussion sensors with not only drum sounds, but musical stabs, found sounds, drones, and soundscapes.

I was beyond amazed when I began this track and realized EVERYTHING was somehow working exactly how I wanted and this track has since sparked a brand new endeavor and ignited a new creativity, as well as being responsible for launching the beginnings of a brand new full length album to come.

The upcoming album will be a dense experimentation with soundscapes and rhythmic percussion where somewhere in between the vast soundscapes and the heavy rhythms, these two disparate styles will coalesce together to form something that ebbs and flows between interesting, rhythmic, unsettling, dense, and beauty all in one journey.

I have no words to say how much your rescore is mesmerizing, awesome and hypnotic! This is really unexpected to have a masterpiece like this as a rescore for a B grade movie, I still can't believe how the quality of the sounds and the atmosphere are just impressive, love every notes of it! That's really difficult to say which track is my favorite, Planned Mission is a totally hypnotic theme fuelled with high quality Carpenter vibes and that rules!
